The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 provides the framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls, and adjacent excavations near buildings or structures.
Act Surveyors provide party wall advice on the impact of the Act, undertake the role of surveyor for building owners and adjoining owners, or the role of agreed surveyor for both owners.
As party wall advisors we have acted for building owners serving all relevant notices, preparing schedules of condition and agreeing party wall awards in close liaison with architects and engineers. We have provided party wall surveyor services for buildings located near to all of our regional offices and continue to do so to ensure lawful building work can proceed. We deal with works relating to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings.
We regularly act for adjoining owners where party wall notices have been served upon them to ensure they are correctly represented under the Act and the correct legal procedures are followed prior to works commencing on site.
